Works on my 2004 Toyota Prius, but man, it was difficult to install for the first time. Contrary to the instructions that come with the kit, I really want to be assembled everything (legs, load bars and fit kit) prior to the introduction of the luggage compartment on a car. If you're trying to do when the device is placed on the roof of the car, the screws are not long enough to engage a threaded nut inside of each foot. In addition, stick to the measurements of one state in the instructions. They get this part right. Now, that I did, however, set up in the luggage compartment intital is super strong, and relatively easy to take and off. To match the 2004 Toyota Prius need Thule Fit Kit # 2142, a set of 400xt Thule Aero Feet, load bars and a set of desired length (I had LB58, 58 "ones). Overall a good product, but Thule can be done better in their manual. Special thanks to cracks and drying out in Aspen, Colorado, which had a random call for help, because the technical Thule is closed for the weekend. I have 400xt Aero Foot, LB65 Load Bars Square, 2119 Fit Kit and locks on my 2007 Toyota Matrix XR and love it. I was a little taken back by the price, but what you pay for. I wanted something stable, where is my car, I do not want to let go. I did not want to meet my things and went back 100 miles later and find it on the road. We had one of the Thule racks for 77 VW Van in the late 70s-80s. We moved from Alaska to WV with our car on the rack. Some places we have stopped in the blizzard and the wind was so strong our car was rocking up on two wheels. Luggage racks, and our things remained strong. I knew when was the time to stand on my car was way Thule. Of course this costs money, but you pay for what.
Had to struggle a bit to put it in my car. Unless the front installed without much struggle, on the back was not a fight. With the help of a friend, we were able to mount the entire system rack 2 hours. But before that I had spent 2 hours and he resigned. It corresponds to a too tight in the car, what is needed and good. However, when I felt the installation was not free to spacing washers or rubber base (several mm). In the end, however, aluminum rods look good on the car compared to a square or round-coated bars.
Ordered by the Thule Fit Kit for my 2000 Mercedes E430 Sport. He had some problems in obtaining a set of installed / in Thule RB47 Rapid Aero Aluminum Roof Rack Load Bars Thule and 400XTR Aero Rapid Roof Rack Foot Pack has been fighting a bit more and screws locked, because I was the performance of the installation directly on the roof of the car. When I took off all the pieces, to match a set of connected load bars and fit kit to stop the car, and then loaded all the elements together to work. I have to buy a Thule skirt, so that blocks wind noise while driving. During the ride there are no problems – at about 75-80 mph I had no problems.
This set was the perfect match to fit my 2007 Versa. Price is by far the lowest I found, even comparing it to Thule.com. It took me about 30 minutes to install the racks, and my advice for future buyers to the other person to help with installation. The delivery was super fast, only took 5 days to receive this product from Amazon.com and shipping was free! I am very happy with this purchase. I'm ready for my trip.
