This is only what it is …. it works well, is not what to do. The sound is fine for ordinary land back to music and talk radio. No replacement for the Bose system or something similar, but in a very quiet acceptance of a reasonable price.
This clock is just perfect in our beach house. In fact, I have now bought 3 of these since they are white with white furniture. They are small and are not as clear at night that is cumbersome. I recommend these clocks. My daughter wanted one and even start to college with her because of the size, the radio and the faint light in the night.
My 5 year old son kept on waking in the middle of the night and climbing in our bed. Because he can read digital clocks, I decided to have a clock displayed in the time and clearly played a little music. In this way, when she says "are not in our room before 6:30," Now he has no excuse before 6:30 am. This clock is perfect. It was inexpensive, my son can see clearly the numbers across the room and at the time, can listen to music. Ideal for my purposes.
The numbers are large and clear, which is great, if short and tries to find out what time it is in the middle of the night. The interface is relatively simple and has some nice features, so as not to waste time noodling around with the alarm setting or tuning a station. The battery back-up ROCKS do not have to reset when power is not. My one complaint is that it is a little too clear: it's more than I'd like lights. For the price, although it is good business.
The display is bright and has all the points to check whether the alarm is set a dubious process. AM radio is not very clear, although there is no certainty that if the problem is with the hardware. On the plus, is a small and compact, and how is that date. Beep alarm function is loud enough for me, and gradually becomes louder, appreciate that.
